About Dave Kyle
With over 30 years of experience as a cabinet maker, master wood finisher, and wood repair specialist, Dave Kyle has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, honesty, and attention to detail. Serving homes, estates, offices, and commercial properties throughout Southern Alberta, Dave is known for delivering high-quality results while treating every home with care, respect, and professionalism.
Born and raised in Calgary, Dave trained at S.A.I.T. before apprenticing under the president of Alberta’s chapter of A.L.M.A.C., the organization responsible for setting provincial finishing standards for government and commercial projects. After years of working in custom woodworking shops, he founded his own company with a vision of providing clients with a higher standard of craftsmanship and personalized service.
Alongside his passion for woodworking and finishing, he is also a writer with upcoming books currently in development and the owner of Kyle’s Wood Touch Up And Repair Presents.
Outside of work, Dave is well known for bringing the spirit of Christmas to the community. Every holiday season, he transforms himself into Santa Claus and creates a large miniature Christmas walk-up window display for families and visitors to enjoy.
