Seamless Custom Cabinet Enhancement
After the kitchen installation had been completed by the home builder, the homeowners decided to add an elegant finishing detail to the counter top cabinet area. A custom trim feature was designed by the interior decorator and installed onsite in its raw state, requiring expert finishing to integrate seamlessly with the existing cabinetry.
Our team carefully colour-matched the original solid lacquer finish. Extensive preparation work was completed, including detailed sanding, repairs to trade-related damage on the trim components, and meticulous masking to ensure the home remained fully protected throughout the refinishing process.
Once completed, the newly added trim blended so naturally with the original cabinetry that during the final walk through, the homeowners had completely forgotten it had ever been added separately — exactly the result we strive for. Combined with the additional touch-ups completed throughout the home, the final presentation felt cohesive, refined, and beautifully finished.
The clients were absolutely thrilled with the transformation, and a few months later invited us back to custom design and build an additional piece for their home, perfectly colour-matched to their existing interior finishes.
