Correcting Incorrectly Drilled Handle Holes — Seamless Cabinet Repair
Mistakes during cabinetry installation or fabrication can be costly — especially when hardware holes are drilled incorrectly on finished drawers, doors, or custom millwork. In many cases, what appears to be a complete loss can actually be professionally repaired and restored without the need for expensive replacement or re-fabrication.

In this particular project, additional handle holes had been drilled incorrectly into a finished drawer front. As shown in the before image, the extra hole was clearly visible and compromised the appearance of the cabinetry.
Rather than replacing the entire component, the damaged area was professionally restored through a detailed repair process that included:
Precision filling of the incorrect hole
Careful sanding and surface preparation
Professional color and finish blending
Complete respraying of the drawer front
The final result restored the drawer to a seamless, factory-finished appearance with no visible evidence of the original mistake. Once completed, the cabinetry looked exactly as it should have from the beginning.
